I'm 30 now.


Because I've passed this milestone,
and because I've been doing pretty well this year at my list
(I'm 28% done and the year is 29% done), I thought I'd give an update.

Happy Birthday part deux

Last year Jen and I took a little jaunt down to Florida to play in the sun and ride some roller coasters. It's impossible to keep your hands up the entire time on Expedition Everest- the Yeti is just too scary.

This year we made a quick trip up to NYC and stopped in to see a little show called Wicked.


Sometimes it's not so much fun to join the bandwagon late when there's already been so much hype that it's hard to live up to the expectations. Not so Miss Elpheba and Miss Galinda, you lived up to it all.

And no, we did not plan our outfits this way.

Happy Birthday to Me.... part uno

Last Saturday, I shared a fantastic birthday party with my friend Erin. We celebrated at Jen's house for her birthday too, even though she just happened to be in Idaho at the time having another birthday party- birthdays all around!

These were some super tasty cakes made by the amazing Shiela.
I don't know why Erin got all of the candles......
Or why I'm making this funny face......

And today when I got home there was a big birthday box on the kitchen table that my mom had sent me.
Inside was a whole lot of sparkly birthday things and this.

This was my Grandma Jones' necklace from her 18th birthday.
I love it, and love wearing something that my Grandma treasured.
