Cherry Blossom Festival
This was yesterday when I went to the cherry blossom festival with some fabulous girls. We walked half the Mall, around the Tidal Basin and across the Potomac to Arlington Cemetary. It was lovely. But even though you can see the Washington Monument from where I live, it is a very large monument and not really all that close. I recommend good walking shoes and a hearty breakfast.
