A friend at work walked by my office this morning and said "Amanda, you look really happy"
I was happy; it's been a good morning. Aside from the fact that it took 4 snoozes to get out of bed and therefor only 20 minutes to get ready. I have an account with the bank downstairs, which means that I can use the coin counter for free instead of the one at the grocery store that charges 9 cents on the dollar.
So Pat, another friend at work, said he'd buy me breakfast if I cashed in his cup full of coins. Now this wasn't a big cup, and I wasn't expecting it to be a lot of money. I also wasn't expecting it to be fun, but it was. Dumping the coins onto the little conveyor belt and then watching the counter go up was pretty exciting. And then the total came out to $60.02, a lot more than I expected.
And then I got a free bagel.
