I didn't believe it was possible

But it really does snow in Virginia.... a lot.

We had to brave the snow this morning for Marci and Alan's wedding up at the temple in Maryland. So not only did we have to leave the house, we had to cross two state lines. The temple was actually closed, except for the few people there for weddings. It was actually really nice and even more peaceful than usual.

Louise and I are now firmly planted indoors and are watching Jane Austen movies. And here is a picture of the snow from a few hours ago, and there's even more now.

Out the front door. That's Louise's car after we carved in a little nook to park. And can you see my car? Nope, that's because it's covered in snow.
The view out on the back porch. There used to be a table out there.

I would love it if we got snow like that for Christmas!
