Meet Boris.
Boris is joining my little family as of today. He came from a shelter, and is about 3 years old, and we think he is a lab/shepherd/great dane mix. His name was already Boris, and I think it suits him, so we're going to stick with that.

This was on our car ride home- he was a little nervous about getting in the car, but you would be too if the last time you took a ride you ended up in a shelter. He's been very mellow so far, but I know he'll have some energy to burn, so lots of walks and runs for the both of us are in store.
It's been 4 1/2 years since I've had a dog, and I've missed it sorely. I know it's going to be a lot more work than I'm used to, but it'll be nice to practice a little less selfishness in my life.

Congrats on the new addition! He is adorable. And Boris is a great name!
So fun! He looks like a cute dog. He is lucky to have a good home. Too bad you don't live closer so he can come have play dates with our dog.
