I'm getting my breaks fixed today, and the guy sent me a text message earlier asking where my key was hidden (I found someone that actually comes to your car to do the repairs, cool). Then, 2 hours later, I got another text message from him that said:
"U gotta get ur shit together!!!"
I responded with
"I'm guessing this message was meant for someone else- Amanda" (replied with copy)
I got back
"Oops! Yes it was!!!"
And while I realize that three exclamation points are a pretty emphatic "not meant for you", I still feel like I deserve an apology.
And just now another one from him-
"Oops again. I meant NO it wasn't!!!"
Now I'm just confused and I feel like we need a quick grammer lesson to sort this all out, because I'm pretty sure double negative does not explain it away.
I think I should get a discount for this.
