The weekend

My weekend was pretty low key. It involved laying in bed for a few hours on Saturday waiting for the temperature to make it up to 40 before I ventured outside. Sometime around 10:30 I gave up at 37 degrees and got up anyway.

Then I set out on my mission for the day: to find a new bike. I'd been riding a friend's for the last year or so, and it just didn't fit me. So thanks to an upcoming birthday and awesome parents, this is my latest toy.

I sat in the doorway for a good 20 minutes or more practicing clipping in and out of the pedals. Then a few times around the block clipping in and out. I have not fallen yet, but it's only a matter of time; I just hope it happens without audience.
