Friday of course was the Royal Wedding. I did not wake up at 4am to watch (I don't think I'd even do that for my own wedding) but I did attend a lovely party that evening.

Also of note that evening- my new niece Sophia was born!!! She came into the world on the day of the royal wedding, Osama Bin Laden's death, and at the exact moment I was watching the amazing car chase from Fast Five. I don't know what all of these things mean exactly, but she's probably destined for greatness.Saturday was the Navy vs. St John's croquet match in Annapolis. It was my first visit to the town, and it was lovely and quaint, and the day reminded me that I am not nearly ready for a Virginia summer.

Hat Love :) I didn't realize how cool Sophi's Birthday really is until you put it like that. She's going to be a Princess who kills evil-doers and drives fast ;) Epic.
