I got my first birthday present of the year tonight- a new camera. I've been without a camera for roughly 3 years now, and I think that it's important that I document my life a little better. So once the battery charges up, you will hopefully be seeing a little more pictoral representation of my life in the fast lane.
By the way, I think if you drive in the fast lane you see more roadkill. Seriously, as a driver, you're on the left of the car so you are closer to the side of the road than in any other lane, and it's almost always shoved off to the side of the road.

Amanda, your mom gave me your BLOG address and I'm so glad that she did. I really enjoyed reading all your posts and think you're very brave to live so far from home. I thought of you on your birthday and hope you had a good one!
