I'm a bad person

Last night I locked my roommate out of the house, very un-nice of me. We have a nice long driveway that could probably fit all 5 of our cars. This can be really helpful and convenient if there is a party or we just want to see what our cars look like in a row. It can also be difficult if the person at the front of the line wants to drive to Maryland to watch some Bollywood movies.

This might require me asking roommate A for her keys as she gets in the car with another friend to go out for the evening, and then promise that I wouldn't lock her out. This didn't seem like a hard promise to keep since I had no plans and no intention of making any plans since I had to be at work at 9am this morning.

The evening was looking pretty good for me to keep my promise, ended up watching some "What not to Wear" with roommates B (who didn't end up in MD for the evening) and C. -Must interject here that I think Clinton and I could totally be best friends-

We enjoyed some tater-tot casserole, this was my first experience with the dish and I was pleasantly surprised. Promise keeping took a turn for the worse, however, when we decided that it was such a lovely night that we should walk up the street and get some ice cream.

It was such a great idea that any thought of locked doors and roommates without keys were pushed right out of my head. Until roommate A called roommate C as I was listening to a message from A telling me that I was in trouble. I am a bad person.

p.s. I bought her some ice cream and I hope she's forgiven me.
